Director Vivek Agnihotri has created sensation with The Kashmir Files last year. He keeps himself in the headlines by making sensational comments about fellow directors, heroes from the Industry. Recently he made some comments about Prabhas and later gave explanation. His next film The Vaccine War will release on the same day of Prabhas's Salaar Part 1 : Cease Fire is releasing, September 28.
Vivek Agnihotri has claimed that Hindi cinema's storytelling witnessed a downfall after Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan started making films. Speaking to Scribes, Vivek claimed that cinema in India went through a downfall after 1988 - the year Amitabh Bachchan's Shahenshah was released.
He also accused SRK and KJo who have worked on several films together, of damaging India's cultural fabric in a very dangerous way. Many are calling his comments irresponsible as Amitabh, Shahrukh and Karan Johar has delivered iconic films together and individually too.
On the other hand Vivek made films like Chocolate, Goal, and Hate Story. He became popular with The Kashmir Files last year and is gearing up with The Vaccine War and The Delhi Files.
