Bala Revived Vanangaan With Arun Vijay

Director Bala Vanangaan,  starring Suriya has completed its first schedule and even first look posters were also released. But, the film was dropped and Suriya moved on. Now, Director Bala revived the project with Arun Vijay in the titular role, the first look was released by the makers on social media on Monday.

The first look poster, features Arun Vijay completely covered in cement slurry. As he looks upwards, one could see him holding a sculpture of Hindu deity Ganesha on one hand, and leader Periyar in another hand, both were cement mouldings.

Roshini Prakash plays the female lead in Vanangaan, while Samuthirakani, Mysskin, perform pivotal roles in this film. GV Prakash is composing the music and Vairamuthu is penning the lyrics. RB Gurudev is handling cinematography and Silva is choreographing action sequences for this film.

Vanangaan was earlier produced by Suriya in his 2D Entertainment banner. Now it is being bankrolled by Bala along with Suresh Kamatchi. Krithi Shetty was female lead opposite Suriya earlier now she is also replaced with Roshini Prakash.
