Watch KKHH For Rs 25 On Its 25th Anniversary

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajor and Rani Mukherjee was an all-time blockbuster accross the nation. It also marks the directorial debut of Karan Johar. The film is completing 25th Anniversary on 15th October. Karan Johar decided to re-release the film. He is hosting three special screenings in Mumbai. Dharma Production made the happy announcement on Instagram. 

While fans have already thronged to the ticket booking platform BookMyShow to grab their tickets, it is the price of the ticket that has us stunned. As per the platform, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai tickets are being sold at a PVR INOX theatre in Mumbai for just Rs 25. The tickets are only Rs 25 on a Sunday night marking the 25th anniversary of Iconic Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. 

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was Karan Johar's directorial debut. Many actresses were approached for the role of Tina earlier but they all rejected it because the role was small. Eventually, Rani agreed to play the part and the film proved to be a game-changer for her.

The movie proved to be a trendsetter of the ’90s. From cementing the trend of gifting friendship bands on Friendship Day to Shah Rukh Khan's ‘cool’ pendant and Anjali’s bob-cut, the film set the pace for many new trends. The film had Salman Khan in a cameo role. Released on October 16, 1998, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai will now celebrate its 25th anniversary next Monday.
