Kanika Kapoor on Ram Charan, Klinkara. A glance at Kanika Kapoor's social media reveals the close bond she shares with the Konidela family, particularly Ram Charan and Upasana Kanineni Konidela. Through frequent posts, she showcases moments from their shared getaways, creating a visual testament to their friendship. Their connection goes beyond social media, as evidenced by the couple's attendance at Kanika's wedding in London last March and her presence at their intimate baby shower earlier this year. The joy was palpable when Ram and Upasana welcomed their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, in June.
Despite the Konidela family's efforts to shield baby Klin's face from the public and media, Kanika, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, disclosed that the little one possesses the 'cutest' face. Expressing her fondness for the Konidelas, she shared, "Upasana and Charan are very old friends of mine. I've known Charan even before he started his career. I've seen him evolve, and he's brilliant. He has now become the father of the cutest little baby. I saw her a while ago."
Reflecting on Ram Charan's unchanged demeanor, even after the global success and Oscar recognition of his film RRR (2022), Kanika praised the humility and family-centric nature of South Indian actors. "He hasn't changed one bit even after that. I have to say one thing about south Indian actors and their families. They're so down to earth and family-oriented. They're so grounded. I have huge respect for them," she expressed.
When questioned about potential forays into acting, given her numerous actor friends, Kanika admitted to receiving acting offers but confessed to not having the impetus to take on another role at the moment. Juggling multiple roles as a mother, sister, wife, daughter-in-law, and a full-time artist, along with spanning three countries, she emphasized the challenges of adding another commitment to her plate. However, she did not rule out the idea entirely, stating that she would consider acting for the love of it, not solely for fame or financial gain. In her words, "For me, less is more. I think you should do only those things that make you comfortable and happy and not because you want to run after fame, power, and money. When acting has to be a part of my life, it will. I'm definitely open to the idea of it. I'm sure I can act (laughs). I'll leave it to managers."
