The injury saga unfolded on Ritika's Instagram Stories, where she posted an initial image of her wounds with a touch of humor, stating, "Looks like I got into a fight with a werewolf!" Subsequently, she shared a video narrating the incident during the shoot. In the clip, she expressed her disappointment, saying, "I am quite upset. They kept telling me, be careful, there’s glass there. They warned me, but it’s okay, it happens. You can’t control momentum sometimes, right? I think I lost control, and then this happened."
Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Ritika conveyed that she had decided to take a break from shooting to seek medical attention at the hospital. While she wasn't experiencing immediate pain, she anticipated potential discomfort due to the depth of some of the injuries. She shared, "I am not feeling any pain right now, but I’m sure this is going to hurt because some of this is quite deep. I am going from the set to the hospital to get a shot. I hope this gets better soon, and I can resume shooting."
