Noted hero Naga Chaitanya’s 23rd film, titled, Thandel, has been creating a lot of hype. The film is helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, with whom the Custody actor has previously worked in the 2016 film Premam and the 2018 film Savyasachi.It is already announced that Sai Pallavi has been roped in to play the lead, alongside Chay. This would mark the duo’s second collaboration after the 2021 film, Love Story.
Titled Thandal, the film's first look poster which was out a few weeks back has been received well by the netizens. Meanwhile, the latest update is that the movie will have a grand launch tomorrow in Hyderabad. News is also that Akkineni Nagarjuna and Venkatesh Daggubati will be gracing the launch event. Reportes also suggest that the film was all set to go on floors by mid December. Meanwhile, the news is circulating that Chay is playing a fisherman role in the movie.
For the same, Chandoo Mondeti and Naga Chaitanya had already visited the K Matchilesam village in Srikakulam, as part of their pre- preparations.The duo hoped to learn more about the land, lifestyle and culture of the fisherfolk by interacting with them. The Majili actor had also mentioned that the interactions helped him understand the lifestyle and body language of the fisherfolk, as well as the texture of the village. Thandel is being bankrolled by Geeta Arts banner. While Allu Arvind is presenting it, Bunny Vas is producing the film on a prestigious note.
