Mohanlal Neru Trailer Review: An Emotional Drama

Duo of iconic 'Drishyam' & 'Drishyam 2', Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph come together for latest film titled, "Neru". The film which is a courtroom drama is all set to hit theatres on December 21. Mohanlal played the role of a lawyer named Vijayamohan, who takes on a case after staying away from legal practice for several years. Makers unveiled the trailer of the film.

The trailer starts with a probe by cops which leads to hearing of the case in court. Mohanlal is introduced as lawyer Vijayamohan who is an out-of-practice lawyer, for several years since he has attended a trial. Though he is not confident to re-enter the court, He makes his comeback by appearing for a visually challenged young woman, played by Anaswara Rajan. The trailer ends on the note that an extraordinary event has taken place in court.

Neru marks Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph's collaboration after the Drishyam films, 12th Man and the yet-to-be-released Ram. Jeethu Joseph has scripted the film along with advocate Santhi Mayadevi, who earlier essayed a crucial role in Drishyam 2.  

Neru also stars Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Jagadish and Siddique in key roles. Neru is produced and distributed by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas. The film is slated for release on December 21.
