Khajuraho International Film Festival: Sridevi to be houred. The grand inauguration of the 9th Khajuraho International Film Festival, dedicated to the legendary Sridevi, is set to take place on December 16, continuing until December 22. The festival aims to pay homage to the late superstar by recognizing her immense contributions to Indian cinema across various languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and more.

This eight-day event will serve as a platform to showcase a diverse array of films from India and abroad. Additionally, it will feature curated sessions, attracting artists, filmmakers, and audiences alike. Sridevi, who embarked on her acting journey at the age of 4, is acknowledged for revolutionizing Indian cinema with her innovative approach to acting. The festival stands as a tribute to her legacy, celebrating her accomplishments and the prestigious Padma Shri conferred upon her by the Indian government.

Raja Bundela, the organizer and director of Prayas Production, highlighted the festival's significance in honoring Sridevi's groundbreaking impact on the film industry. Renowned actors such as Manish Badhava, known for 'Gadar 2,' Asrani, Gulshan Grover, Harish Bhimani, Ali Khan, and Pankaj Dheer are expected to grace the festival with their presence.

Key celebrities like Boney Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Asrani, and distinguished guests, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Kausal Kishor, and Faggan Singh Kulaste, are anticipated to attend. Central Ministers Kausal Kishor and Faggan Singh Kulaste have confirmed their participation, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to attend either the opening or closing day. Detailed programs for their involvement are eagerly awaited. The festival is organized in collaboration with Sushmita Mukherjee Bundela, director Ram Bundela, and associated artists like Jagmohan Joshi and Rakesh Sahu.
