Adivi Sesh - Shruti Haasan Project Titled Dacoit

Ever since the announcement about SeshExShruti, starring Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan in a pan India action film came out, the anticipation levels build up and kept on increasing with each promotional poster. Every poster offers a unique plot in the making.  After a week of building anticipation with their universally loved visual assets, the makers of the Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan starrer pan-India action drama revealed the title of the film as 'Dacoit.'

The makers made the announcement with a new poster and shared a very different announcement teaser, featuring Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan all guns blazing, as they battle their way through a high-octane face-off that sets the tone of the movie and introduces the audience to the gritty and intense world of Dacoit. It's the explosion of guns and roses, betrayal and trust, and, above all, love and loss.

Dacoit is touted to be a gripping story of two former lovers, who must unite to commit a series of robberies to change their lives. It marks the feature directorial debut of Shaneil Deo. The biggie is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang and the film is presented by Annapurna Studios. It is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.

The film marks Adivi Sesh's second straight Hindi film after his 2022 acclaimed Major. 

Shaneil Deo made directorial debut after served as the Director of Photography for several Telugu blockbusters including 'Kshanam’ and ‘Goodachari’, which were headlined by Adivi Sesh.  Dacoit goes on floors soon.
