Samantha About Citadel Release Date

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will share screen space in the Indian adaptation of the American series Citadel. As anticipation builds among fans for updates on the web show, Samantha recently shared a photo featuring Varun, the show’s directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, along with writer Sita R Menon.

In the pictures posted by Samantha, she is seen examining glimpses of Citadel with the project’s team. Samantha sports a chic black jacket, complemented by a stylish cap and denim pants, while Varun exudes casual coolness in an off-white shirt paired with denim pants. 

Alongside the images, Samantha wrote, “Finally, we got to watch something…And we are like (accompanied by heart eye emojis).” The post was accompanied by the song “Auva Auva Koi Yahan Nache”.

Citadel boasts a star-studded cast, including Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sikandar Kher, and Emma Canning in pivotal roles. The series was filmed in Serbia and India. Samantha completed her part in the show before announcing a break from acting to focus on her health. She had been diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune condition resulting from inflammation in the muscles.
