Vijay Antony Is Coming With A Family Rom-com Love Guru

Music director turned actor, producer and recently director, Vijay Antony has earned his name for delivering content based films. Most of his films deal with intense subjects. For the first time he is seen in a romantic comedy titled 'Romeo', in Telugu as 'Love Guru'. The makers released the film's first look poster on Tuesday. 

The film, helmed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, stars Mrinalini Ravi as the female lead. The first look poster shows the two actors on their marriage's first night. While a shocked Vijay Antony is seen holding a bowl of milk, a bold Mrinalini is seen making herself a whiskey drink. 

Apart from playing the lead, Vijay Antony is also bankrolling the film under his newly launched production house Good Devil Productions and also editing it. Vinayak Vaithianathan is an assistant of filmmaker Shree Karthick who made Oke Oka Jeevitham starring Sharwanand. He has previously directed a YouTube Series titled Kadhal Distancing.

The Telugu version of Romeo has been titled Love Guru. Also featuring VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi, the film has cinematography by  Farook J Basha and music by Barath Dhanasekar. The distribution rights of Romeo has been bagged by Red Giant Movies. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
