Nawaz felt guilty for Rajini Petta. Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently opened up about feeling guilty after filming his debut Tamil film, Petta, alongside Superstar Rajinikanth. In an interview, he expressed his discomfort about not understanding the language and merely lip-syncing to the prompts. He felt like he was fooling everyone and questioned if he was committing fraud by accepting payment for the role.

Petta, produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, released in 2019 and also starred Vijay Sethupathy, Simran, Trisha, and Sasikumar. Nawazuddin's experience on the set led to a course correction in his approach to his recent debut Telugu film, Saindhav. In Saindhav, Nawazuddin did his own dubbing and made sure to understand the meaning behind every dialogue, which made him feel less guilty about his performance.

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Venkat Boyanapalli, Saindhav features Nawazuddin alongside Venkatesh Daggubati, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, and Jayaprakash. The film, which released in theaters on January 13, is now available for streaming on Prime Video India. Nawazuddin's role in Saindhav as the ruthless gangster Vikas Malik, who clashes with Venkatesh's character, has been praised, with the film being likened to a 'desi John Wick.'

Up next, Nawazuddin will be seen in films like Adbhut, Noorani Chehra, and Sangeen, continuing to impress audiences with his versatile acting skills.
