'Telangana,' the new subject of Tollywood

After faction, action, comedy and family subjects…it seems now to be the season of ‘Telangana’ in Tollywood. Never was such high focus by Film personalities on historical Telangana Armed Struggle, factors that led to the Movement and results of that Movement.

Nearly three to four movies are in various stages of discussion/making like ‘Jai Bolo Telangana, Yamalokam Lo Telangana, Rajanna’ and few more are on the anvil to take off once either of the above releases. Already R. Narayana Murthy has done a brave attempt to show the highlights of the agitation in ‘Veera Telangana.’ 

Few of the writers say that, this kind of Armed Struggle consists of various emotions imbibed in it and has a vast scope to bring it innovatively on the screen entertaining and educating audience from front benchers to Balcony classes. After December 31, 2010; there is a chance that these kinds of movies may further increase in number.
