Movie lovers got a huge shock when they came to know that Icon Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule wouldn't be screened in the iconic Prasads Imax. They woke up to a shock when they found that the online ticketing portals did not show Prasad Imax option for booking Pushpa The Rule.
Later they came to know that Imax management and Mythri Distributors were at loggerheads over sharing of 2.5%. It is known that in Multiplexes films are screened on revenue sharing basis rather on rental basis. Multiplexes like PVR after the taxes, share 55% with the producers and distributors keeping the remaining 45% with them.
However, Imax shares 52.5% to the distributors and keeps 47.5% with it. But Pushpa makers demanded 55% share and Imax did not relent from the usual practise. This did not stop there as the management of Prasad Imax took it to the Multiplex association. Mythri Movie Makers were adamant as Pushpa The Rule got immense craze.
Now the question is will Mythri show the same adamance when it comes to the release of Nithiin's Robinhood. Only time will tell and viewers are waiting eagerly following the latest developments.
