Suriya Vaadivaasal Production To Commence Soon

Suriya and Vetrimaaran's highly anticipated collaboration, Vaadivaasal, is finally back on track. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu confirmed the period drama film will begin shooting soon. Initially announced in 2021, production was halted due to various issues, but both Suriya and Vetrimaaran reassured fans the project was still alive.

Kalaipuli S Thanu revealed Suriya is ready to start filming, and Vetrimaaran has completed his commitments to Viduthalai Part 2. Unconfirmed reports suggest CG work has begun in a UK studio. An official announcement on shoot commencement is expected soon.

Vaadivaasal, based on CS Chellappa's novel, reportedly revolves around Jallikattu. Suriya may play a double role as father and son. Andrea Jeremiah is touted as the female lead, with Ameer Sulthan in a pivotal role. GV Prakash Kumar will compose music.

With production resuming, fans eagerly await this acclaimed actor-director duo's masterpiece. Will Vaadivaasal live up to expectations?
