Kangana Ranaut's much awaited film Emergency after a huge controversy cleared the censor hurdles and is releasing on 17 Jan 2025 across the world. Now ahead of its release, the film makers got a huge shock.

According to the latest, the film was banned in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has taken this decision following the strained relations between India and Bangladesh recently.

A source shared "The decision to halt the screening of Emergency in Bangladesh is tied to the current strained relations between India and Bangladesh. The ban is less about the content of the film and more about the ongoing political dynamics between the two nations,"

Emergency stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in important roles. The film marks Kangana's debut as the director. Kangana's Emergency is bankrolled on Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios.
