Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis watches Kangana Emergency

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's hard hitting and highly controversial film Emergency is releasing on 17 Jan 2025. Kangana Ranaut is making his debut as a director with this film.

Ahead of the film release, Kangana arranged for the special screening of the film to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Kangana who is also the BJP MP received Mahrashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis cordially ahead of the screening.

After watching the film, Fadnavis said “The way Kangana ji has portrayed Indira ji’s character in front of us, I want to congratulate her. She has brought it out in a very impactful manner."

While Kangana played the lead role of the then PM Indira Gandhi, the film also starred  Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman and Satish Kaushik  in important roles. The film is produced by Kangana Ranaut on Manikarnika Films in association with Zee Studios.
