Bollywood star actor Saif Ali Khan, who was injured in an attack by a thug last week, has given a statement to the police, revealing details about the attack that took place on the 16th of this month. According to Saif, he and his wife Kareena Kapoor were in their bedroom on the 11th floor when the assailant barged into the room where their youngest son Jeh was sleeping. The assailant demanded Rs 1 crore and pointed a knife at the caretaker, Eliaama Philip, which made Jeh start crying.

Saif told the police that he immediately went to the room and saw a fight between the intruder and the caretaker. He tried to catch the assailant, but was stabbed on his back, neck, and hands with a knife. The incident took place at 2:30 am, and Saif's family members took him to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
