Sivakarthikeyan SK 25 is Now Titled Parasakthi

Sivakarthikeyan 25th film tentatively called SK 25 has been officially titled Parasakthi. The film directed by Sudha Kongara marks the first collaboration between the actor and the filmmaker. The project was initially pitched to actor Suriya but he opted out due to undisclosed reasons. The title teaser of Parasakthi has been released introducing a revolt in historical Madras featuring Atharvaa Murali Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan in key roles.

The title teaser suggests that the film is set in the past in Madras with a revolt like situation unfolding. Atharvaa and Sreeleela are seen dressed in old fashioned clothing while Ravi Mohan is seen firing his gun at a portrait of Sivakarthikeyan. The hero is finally introduced leading a revolution with his fellow students. Parasakthi stars Ravi Mohan as the antagonist Atharvaa Murali in a pivotal role and Sreeleela who is making her Tamil debut with this film.

Parasakthi is produced by Dawn Pictures with GV Prakash reuniting with Sivakarthikeyan after the success of Amaran to score music for the film. This will be GV Prakash 100th project as a music composer. The film cinematography is handled by Ravi Chandran. The title Parasakthi borrows itself from the 1952 cult classic Tamil film starring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role.
