Samanta stands single in the race

Why not, with nearly 10 to 15 new heroines debuted in Tollywood in this year, it was Samanta alone who stood in the race grabbing very big offers competing with seniors. Although 2010 was not encouraging for Tollywood newbies, Samanta ran away with best offers after the dream and magical debut ‘Ye Maya Chesave.’

Disastrous films like ‘Varudu,’ ‘Maro Charitra,’ ‘Komaram Puli,’ ‘Em Pillo Em Pillado’ ‘Taj Mahal,’ ‘Vedam’ has put full stop for Bhanu Mehra, Anita, Nikisha Patel, Praneetha, Shruthi and Lekha Washington respectively. On the other side Priya Anand and Richa Gangopadhyay part of the critically acclaimed ‘Leader’ are having ‘180’ and ‘Nagavalli, Mirapakai’ in their hands while Taapsee Pannu debuted with 'Jhummandi Naadam' is having 'Mr. Perfect' and 'Vasthaadu Naa Raju.'

We still have beautiful Shazahan Padamsee waiting for her first movie result with ‘Orange.’ As 2010 nearing to an end, it is Samanta standing single in the race calling it worth a best debut putting down the others. Babes like Nisha Agarwal, Sana Khan and Radhika Apte also failed to make their mark.
