Akhanda 2 Marks Balakrishna Consecutive 100 Crores Grosser

Nandamuri Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 has entered the 100 crore club worldwide with a gross collection of ₹102.06 crores in 7 days. This marks Balakrishna's fifth consecutive film to achieve this feat, following Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Daaku Maharaaj. Despite underwhelming performance and mixed reviews, the film has managed to impress with its strong opening week.

Akhanda 2's India net collection stands at ₹76.75 crores, with a gross of ₹90.56 crores. Overseas, it has grossed ₹11.5 crores, making it a disappointing affair considering the high expectations. The film's pre-release business was substantial, but most buyers have recovered only about 50% of their investment so far.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda 2 stars Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles. The film was released on December 12, 2025, and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Ishan Saksena under 14 Reels Plus Entertainment and IVY Entertainment.

Considering the film's budget of ₹200 crores, Akhanda 2 is seen as a disappointment. However, Balakrishna's growing box office strength and goodwill have worked in the film's favor, making it a notable achievement despite mixed reviews.
