Krithi Shetty shared  “I have had a few offers, but sometimes the dates didn’t align. Also, the Hindi film industry functions very differently. They usually plan and shoot schedules in one stretch, whereas in the South, it’s more staggered. Because of that, things didn’t work out, or the projects didn’t feel right as my first Hindi film at that point.”

She continued  “I grew up speaking Hindi, unlike Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam, which I had to learn later. Even during my acting workshops, everything was in Hindi, so the process felt easier and quicker. There’s something very fresh and exciting about working in a language I completely understand—I know the words and their meanings instinctively. Hopefully, it will all fall into place soon.”

Currently Krithi is starring in Vaa Vathiyaar along with Karthi, Pradeep Ranganathan's LIK and Ravi Mohan's Genie.
