Prabhas's The Raja Saab which is starting Sankranthi film festival is scheduled to release on January 9th with previous day Premiers in Telugu states on January 8th. Next Sankranthi Biggie, Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is set to release in theaters worldwide on January 12th, with paid premieres scheduled for January 11th.

Following the trend set by Balakrishna's Akhanda 2, makers of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Prasad Garu is going with a ticket price of ₹500 for the premiere shows inspite of 800 - 1000 Rs which is common normal for big films. The response to Akhanda 2's premiere tickets was lukewarm, possibly due to the last-minute postponement of the release date.

It's uncertain how Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will fare, but fans are eagerly awaiting Chiranjeevi's return to the big screen. The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, promises to be a mass entertainer. Venkatesh playing extended cameo also adds more value to the film and the expectations are soaring as it is directed by hit machine Anil Ravipudi.

On the other hand, Prabhas' The Raja Saab is following other big films premier strategy, with premiere tickets priced at ₹800 on January 8th with shows starting from 6:03 PM and 9:00 PM. The early premiere strategy aims to capitalize on the film's hype and attract audiences willing to pay a premium for an exclusive experience. But, these Premiers and ticket rates need to get permissions from respected governments of two Telugu states.
