Sandeep Vanga says Ranveer Singh rejected Kabir Singh

Shahid Kapoor's Ranveer Singh directed by Sandeep Vanga created a sensation at the box office in Bollywood. The film is the remake of Vijay Devarakonda-Sandeep Vanga's Arjun Reddy.

Now, Sandeep Vanga says Ranveer Singh rejected Kabir Singh. He said  “I was continuously getting calls from Mumbai to do the remake. First, it was pitched to Ranveer Singh. I wanted to do it with him,”

He shared “But finally, he decided he will not do it, because it was too dark for him at that time,” He added  “After Ranveer passed, Shahid was approached. But people weren’t convinced,”

He added “They would say, ‘If it was Ranveer, the box office would be higher.’ But I was always sure about Shahid. He’s a fantastic actor,”

Ranveer Singh is currently on high scoring a blockbuster in form of Dhurandhar. Sandeep Vanga scored a hit with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and is now doing Spirit with Prabhas.
