Vijay Jana Nayagan Already Collected 15 Crores From Advance Bookings

The Vijay starrer Jana Nayagan has opened advance bookings on a strong note, collecting around Rs 15 crore in worldwide pre-sales, with a week to go for its January 9 release. The film's strong pre-sale response points to a solid opening, with markets expecting the advance business to cross Rs 50 crore worldwide once bookings open across all regions.

In India, Jana Nayagan has collected around Rs 3 crore so far in advance bookings, with sales open to selected theatres across Kerala and Karnataka. However, a rapid rise is expected once sales open to Tamil Nadu and other regions of India. The film has posted phenomenal numbers in overseas markets, gaining Rs 11-12 crore in opening day pre sales, largely driven by North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Jana Nayagan is a political action thriller that sees Vijay essaying the titular role, alongside an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, and Priyamani in pivotal parts.
