Prabhas and Maruthi's upcoming film The Raja Saab is gearing up for a grand release, and the makers have requested the Andhra Pradesh government to allow a flat ticket price of ₹1000 for premiere shows. They have also asked for a ticket price hike of ₹150 for single screens and ₹200 for multiplexes for the first 10 days of regular shows.

The Andhra Pradesh government is expected to grant permission without much difficulty, but the Telangana government's response is awaited. Recently, Telangana's Cinematography Minister, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, stated that the government would not allow any ticket price hikes or premiere shows.

The Raja Saab team has requested the following ticket prices in Telangana (including GST): Premiere Show ₹943 for single screens and ₹1180 for multiplexes, First Weekend ₹301 for single screens and ₹450 for multiplexes, and Festival Week ₹250 for single screens and ₹400 for multiplexes. However, these prices have shocked moviegoers, and it remains to be seen whether the Telangana government will approve the request.

The proposed ticket prices in Telangana are considered extremely high, and the government's stance on ticket hikes is being closely watched. The Telangana government has already faced issues from the High Court for allowing big hikes in ticket prices for recent biggies like OG and Akhanda 2.The Raja Saab is set to release on January 9, with Premiers on January 8 and the makers are awaiting government permission for ticket hikes.
