Censor Board suggested cuts to The Raja Saab before certification. The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi is generating immense interest among movie lovers as Prabhas is starring in a horror thriller for the first time in his career. The film is up for release on 9 January.

It is known that the film already completed censor formalities and had been awarded U/A certificate, clearing decks for The Raja Saab theatrical release.

A source close to the censor board shared "Certain shots were trimmed or removed, including a sequence showing a beheading and several scenes with excessive blood, which the board deemed unnecessary". It has to be seen how fans will react to these developments.

The Raja Saab stars Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Niddhi Agarwal as the female leads and Thaman being the music director. The film which stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, and VTV Ganesh in important roles.
