Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongara is releasing on 10 Jan 2026. The film landed in trouble due to censor delay.

According to the latest, Censor Board passed the film for theatrical release with U/A certificate but before that it ordered 25 cuts. The film's runtime stands at two hours, 42 minutes and 43 seconds.

Here are the full list of the Censor Board cuts.

These include changes to a voiceover referencing the imposition of languages in other countries and their subsequent disintegration, altering the phrase ‘Thee Paravattum’ to ‘Neethi Paravattum’, and replacing the words ‘Pattu Nuula’. Several words and phrases were muted, including “Bastard, sirukki, kodila kaaya vatcha thuni maadhiri, kundila komanaththa, okkaali, kundi, nakki, mayiththukku,” and “Hindi kaththukittu,” among others.

Additionally, the sentence “Hindi en kanavai aliththathu” was changed to “En orey kanavai Hindi thinippu eriththathu.” removed, while visuals of a village massacre were significantly reduced.

The censor board also directed the makers to insert a fiction disclaimer for sequences involving Postal Money Orders, cancellation of UPSC examinations, and language proficiency requirements in railway interviews.
