Kotha Malupu  first look out on festival. Singer Sunitha's son Akash is making his debut on the screen with his film titled interestingly as Kotha Malupu.

The film directed by Shiva Varaprasad Keshanakurthi is progressing at a brisk pace. On the occasion of Sankranti, the makers released the first look poster. It showed the lead pair Akash and Bhairavi Adya in the backdrop of family members celebrating the festival.

The film is produced by Tadhastu Creations banner under the backing of Tati Balakrishna. The film also stars Raghu Babu, Prudhvi, Prabhavathi, Mahender, DD Srinivas, and Kittayya in important roles.

Director Shiva Prasad said "The story weaves together romance, suspense, and comedy in equal measure. He noted that the on-screen chemistry between Akash and Bhairavi Ardhya has shaped up well, with the duo portraying a bava–maradala (brother-in-law and sister-in-law) relationship."
