Mammootty Crime Thriller Kalamkaval Now Streaming on SonyLiv

Mammootty's crime thriller Kalamkaval has made its way to OTT platforms, and fans can now watch it from the comfort of their homes. The film, which was one of the most successful Malayalam films of 2025, is available to stream on SonyLiv in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The film tells the story of a routine Kerala Police is investigating a string of disturbing cases in the quiet village of Kottayikonam. The investigation takes an unexpected turn, revealing unsolved mysteries that have lingered for years, and soon crosses into Tamil Nadu.

Mammootty plays the role of Stanley Das, a methodical serial killer, while Vinayakan essays the role of SI Jayakrishnan, a Kerala police officer tasked with solving the case. The film also stars Gibin Gopinath, Gayatri Arun, Rajisha Vijayan, and Shruti Ramachandran in supporting roles. Kalamkaval opened to positive reviews and went on to become a commercial success, crossing ₹80 crores worldwide. It became Mammootty's second highest grossing film ever, behind Bheeshma Parvam.

Kalamkaval marks the directorial debut of Jitin K Jose, and the music is composed by Mujeeb Majeed. The film is produced by George Sebastian under the banner of Mammootty Kompany. With its engaging storyline and strong performances, Kalamkaval is a must watch for fans of crime thrillers.
