Opinions may never be the same but it is true to the core that 2010 has been the worst year of this decade for Tollywood with industry sinking into all kinds of crisis. More relevant to our subject is the failure of all the films from so called big stars in the market. Although a single digit number of movies have shown their magic at BO but failed to maintain their consistency after the gigantic first week openings.
Released with too many hopes, Venkatesh’s ‘Nagavalli’ is one big budgeted movie which couldn’t help retain the faith of our audience on Tamil directors who made the lives of our Telugu heroes further miserable. As we come to the penultimate closure of 2010, Nagarjuna is the lone hero standing with ‘Ragada’ beacon at end of the coast to show a path of success for 2011. Hope that Nagarjuna closes 2010 on a winning note welcoming the 2011 with much more optimism.
