Prabhas makes it to Japan top magazine

Tollywood stars popularity is increasing globally and according to the latest, Prabhas got a rare honor. He featured on the top Japanese magazine. Prabhas became the first Indian actor to feature on the Anan magazine. Appearing on the back cover of issue 2483, scheduled for release on February 10.

Prabhas’ “royal audience gravure” under the magazine’s “Irresistible Feelings” theme represents a new milestone for Indian cinema’s presence in Japan.Prabhas became the first Indian actor to feature solo on the magazine cover. Earlier NTR and Ram Charan after creating a sensation with RRR featured together on the cover page.

The cover shoot for Anan was conducted during Prabhas’ visit to Tokyo in December 2025, where he traveled to promote his films and connect with fans. The magazine’s description of the feature as a “royal audience gravure” is particularly apt, given Prabhas’s larger-than-life screen persona and his portrayal of kings and warriors in many of his biggest hits.

Anan is first published in 1970, it’s one of Japan’s longest-running and most influential women’s lifestyle magazines.
