Rajinikanth Kamal Haasan Film Undergoing Announcement Promo Shoot

The highly anticipated collaboration between Tamil cinema legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan is making headlines, with the promo shoot kicking off at Prasad Studios. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is expected to be one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema, with a massive budget and leading OTT platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video competing for the deal.

The promo shoot is being filmed primarily to finalize the film's OTT rights, and the makers aim to lock all non theatrical deals before the main shoot begins. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will reportedly reunite on screen after a gap of 46 years, sparking massive excitement among fans and industry insiders. 

While the promo shoot is underway, Nelson and the team plan to start regular shooting by the end of the year. Rajinikanth will complete another film directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, before joining this collaboration. Kamal Haasan will wrap up his commitments for the Kalki sequel and Anbariv project.

The film's director, Nelson Dilipkumar, is known for his work on Jailer and Jailer 2 promo, and the promo is expected to be humorous, featuring Nelson and music director Anirudh Ravichander in cameo appearances as makeup artists. The film is tentatively referred to as #Thalaivar174 X #KH238, but no official title has been confirmed.
