Farzi Season 2 Officially Confirmed

The wait is over. Farzi Season 2 has been officially confirmed by creators Raj & DK on the show's third anniversary. The announcement was made with a teaser image featuring a stack of counterfeit currency and the caption "Round 2 in progress"

Shahid Kapoor, who plays the lead role of Sunny, has hinted at his return with a new look, sparking excitement among fans. He shared a photo with Raj & DK, captioning it "The fakers are back at it". The core ensemble cast, including Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, and Kay Kay Menon, is expected to reprise their roles. 

Filming is expected to begin in March 2026, with a possible release by late 2026 or early 2027. The second season will likely explore modern financial crimes, such as crypto fraud and digital counterfeiting, and delve deeper into Sunny's psychological struggles. 

Shahid Kapoor is reportedly set to receive a record-breaking fee of ₹45 crore for his return. Farzi is one of the highest viewed series on OTT. Backed by Amazon Prime Video, Farzi is one of the much awaited series in Indian OTT landscape.
