Laya praises Balakrishna

Laya during her haydays created a niche for herself. She romanced top stars of Tollywood during that time and made an impact.

She is now speaking to scribes, showered praises on Balakrishna. Laya shared screen presence in Balakrishna's action entertainer Viayendra Varma.

Speaking to scribes she said “Balakrishna is the most professional and easy-to-work-with star. He keeps the atmosphere light on the sets and always makes everyone laugh. He is extremely disciplined and a very talented co-star.”

Laya is now playing in important role in Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani under the direction of Sudhir Ram. The film is up for OTT streaming on ETV Win on 12 Feb 2026.

Laya made a notable mark in Tollywood with successful films like Swayamvaram, Manoharam and Preminchu, in which her portrayal of a blind girl earned her praise for her performance. Known for choosing content-driven roles over glamour, she moved to the US after marrying a doctor.
