Karthi to team with Kalyan Shankar of MAD fame? Karthi is known for his interesting and different genre entertainers and created a niche for himself in Tollywood. Now, reports are coming that Karthi is all set to star in the direction of Kalyan Sankar of MAD fame.

If this happens then it will becoming his first straight Telugu project. Currently discussions are underway and with the talks reaching the final stage, official confirmation may come soon. Buzz is a top actress will be paired opposite Karthi.

Sometime back rumours spread that Kalyan Krishna will be teaming with Mass Raja Ravi Teja but this may not be happening at present. Karthi also has HIT4, a thriller under the direction of Sailesh Kolanu.

Apart from it, Karthi has sequels to Khaithi and Sardaar. Rumours also spread that Karthi may also team with Vivek Athreya who earlier impressed with films like Mental Madilo, Brochevarevarura, Ante Sundaraniki and Saripodhaa Sanivaram.
