Balakrishna - Tollywood Lion of the Decade

As we come to the end of a decade with December 31 of this month, a casual look at the track record of our Tollywood heroes is a regular work for Fans. Obviously, very high in esteem with the success of ‘Simha,’ Balakrishna stands frontrunner to Numero Uno position but he delivered a meager three hits in this decade from 2000 to 2010.  

Yes, starting with ‘Narasimha Naidu’ in the direction of B. Gopal, the movie was such a massive hit which broke all the records of Tollywood. Struggling with serial debacles till 2004, Balayya gave a super hit ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ with Jayant C Paranji. Then it took nearly five years for Balayya to comeback with stupendous ‘Simha’ in 2010 reestablishing the mass image in audience.

A normal observation of these three movies will affirm that Balayya loves only those titles which start or end with ‘Simha’ (Lion). Rightly he is the ‘Tollywood Lion of the Decade.’
