Will this work out for Puri?

Undoubtedly Puri Jagannath raised the standards of Telugu cinema with his immaculate hero characterizations. From the very movie of ‘Badri’ till ‘Bbuddah,’ we haven’t seen heroes of Puri being timid. In fact heroes are the reason behind his success. Openly speaking he can’t do anything more than showing heroics on screen. ‘Pokiri’ was one of the peaks in Puri’s career and then on graph started to decline. Unable to come out of ‘Pokiri’ mania, he weaved stories with same touch leading to frustration of audience.

Even ‘Bbuddah’ is inspired from ‘Pokiri’ and once again evidential that Puri became repetitive but the only difference is showing the same thing in Hindi. Now, inner sources say that Puri wants to continue his film making in B-town beating the dust out of his old scripts all the way from times of ‘Bachi’ and ‘Idiot’ by reshaping them to suit for Hindi audience and Bolly star heroes. Similar format is followed by Priyadarshan who remakes his hit Malayalam films into Hindi with Sunil Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. Will this work for a long time…Puri?
