Ramcharan not interested in Chiru films

Beating all the buzz and T-town rumors on Ramcharan having accepted the remake of 1980’s Chiranjeevi blockbuster ‘Khaidi,’ here is fresh report. True that a popular producer registered ‘Khaidi’ title for remake with Cherry but he seems to have shown no interest on the project.  A source close to the actor says, ‘No doubt it was a trendsetting film in the 1980s and Charan does adore his father’s films. But he is not really keen on doing remakes.’

Veteran writers Paruchuri brothers have already re-worked on the script and their efforts could be gone in vain. Apparently Ramcharan wants to focus more on rock solid contemporary films like ‘Rachcha.’ Perhaps Ramcharan might repeat a few of his illustrious father’s chartbusters but does not want to do a complete remake. Reason is quite simple; he does not want to get compared with father.
