'Damarukam' fears in industry!

Striving for creativity or continuous search for new talented directors are indeed a good quality observed in Akkineni Nagarjuna. He is one of the front runners to introduce new and young talents to industry inclusive of Ramgopal Varma. Unfortunately his judgment these days is going awry and none of his moves are bearing positive results.

Nag’s attempt to introduce youngster Kiran as director with ‘Kedi’ and Ajay Bhuyan with ‘Dhada’ have misfired. With in no time, Nag has gone to his basics of working with most reliable directors like Rajamouli for ‘Rajanna’ and ‘Shirdi Sai’ with Raghavendra Rao. Odd man out in the series is comedy director Srinivas Reddy, who is given the responsibility of handling Rs.40 Crore budgeted ‘Damarukam’ by RR Movie Makers. This is highest ever budget film in Nag’s entire career and fears are surrounding this project because of Srinivas Reddy who might turn out to be next Ajay or next Kiran.
