NRI arrested for Dookudu piracy

Piracy is now getting out of hand. Many Telugu films have suffered on account of Piracy. While there is a separate cell for tackling Piracy it is however a very difficult task as the con men are spread far and wide.  A raid now and then on shops selling pirated CDs and DVDs is all that we have seen so far.

However things are now slowly changing. The cyber crime cops have managed to arrest a person in connection with Piracy. Suresh, a US based NRI has been arrested for illegally downloading songs from the film Dookudu and then circulating them over internet. The offence is serious and he could now be jailed for as many as five years. This should serve as a warning for those who do such things.
