Iam ashamed of …“Mahatma”: Krishna Vamshi

>“Mahatma”, the most promising movie of the present times is arriving soon on October 9th on Indian screens. Director Krishna Vamshi took his time to explain the concept of “Mahatma” and what made him to make this kind of movie.

Movie in crux deals with the change over of a street rowdy named “Das” into a Mahatma. Movie entirely touches the noble preachings of Mahatma Gandhi and how can they be used in the present society for our well being.

“Obama after being elected as the president of USA in his first speech said that Mahatma Gandhi was his inspirational idol. I felt ashamed because the soil on which we are living now is the same soil where our own Mahatma was born. Even when we Indians have kept aside all his divine thoughts, a man of foreign origin is following them. Iam really ashamed of not following “Mahatma” and at that moment I decided strongly to make a movie on Gandhi and this is the final product” said an emotional Krishna Vamshi.
