Is Chiru supporting or denying Balayya?

This is like trying to burry an old hatchet. Two top heroes of industry viz. Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi, who along with their fans vied with each other at every given occasion, be it a new release or a social or a political event have nearly crossed swords. Current controversy seems to be buried with some matured comments by the latter.

The actual trouble started with Balakrishna passing harsh remarks against a young hero, who was in all praise for a Tamil director. The young hero is supposed to be Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan, who said that Tollywood lacks good directors like Murugadoss of ‘7th Sense’ fame. Balakrishana during the audio success function of ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ lashed out the young star without naming him.

‘Aditya 369 and Bhairava Dweepam are some of the films which have extraordinary direction values and youngsters do not know the history,” was how Balakrishna reacted. Normally, the Nandamuri scion is a soft spoken person at any pubic dais.

Putting an end to the controversy, Chiranjeevi said, ‘Balakrishna is a senior actor. His statements are completely acceptable. For everything we have good and bad. I did not listen to his comments. I don’t know what his real intention behind those statements is and whom they are directed at. If he made any statements on any young hero, whoever it is, taking his experience into consideration, we have to respect those and comments should be sensible. However, he should have avoided using that harsh language.’

Well, this is another controversy to know…was Chiru accepting or denying the comments passed by Balayya. Given their age old friendship, we wish that everything will settle down in coming few days.
