RGV's Weapon (Camera) Lost

The weapon in film maker Ram Gopal Varma’s hand is his camera. This innovative and up to date technically sound director has to face the humiliation when one of his six expensive 5D cameras was stolen from the shooting spot of Ramgopal Varma’s ‘Department’ at Essel Studios, Chembur. 

One of the cameras was found missing when unit resumed to shoot after a lunch break. The panicky was more because they had not retrieved the footage shot in it. Varma’s team registered a complaint with local police. Other sources say that, it was not the Canon 5D but a Go-Pro camera that was accidentally picked up by some one from outside the floor where ‘Department’ was being shot. Soon when this someone realized that this camera does not belong to us, they returned the camera back and the footage was also in tact.
