Dhoni on schedule

Sachin Tendulkar must have missed his 100th century at Wankade stadium but Dhoni is well on target in the city and the Prakash Raj-directed film is progressing well.

Directing the director’s son is what Prakash Raj is doing in this film, which has a strong cricket backdrop and Prui Jagannath’s son Akash playing the adolescent character dreaming of becoming a cricketer.

The making of the bilingual Dhoni reached the climax and shoot is in progress at various places in the city involving Prakash Raj, Akash, Radhika, Nazar and others.

Ilayaraja gave the music score for the film, produced by Prakash Raj in Tamil and RR Movie Makers in Telugu.

Dhoni is likely to hit the screens in New Year and audio in the year end.
