Rachcha shooting halted

The unit of Ram Charan and Tamanna starrer film Rachcha is now in Kerala. Director Sampat Nandi planned for a romantic duet on the lead couple at the Periyar Lake. The lake and its surroundings are reserved areas. The unit arrived in a convoy of more than 20 vehicles. The officials of the forest reserve objected to this as it would cause environmental pollution.

The officials also wanted the shooting of the song to be stopped as Ram Charan and Tamanna were riding in a boat without a life jacket.  It is mandatory to wear life jacket while moving around in a boat on Periyar Lake. Director Sampat Nandi had no option but to follow the rules. That is Kerala. In our state Cherry’s dad would have called up the CM and his peshi in turn would have called up the officials and the shooting would have gone ahead without a problem. No rules for VIPs! What say? So the director filmed some long shots on the hero and heroine and wrapped up the shooting.  The remaining part will be shot separately showing Tamanna in a revealing outfit and Ram Charan in casual shorts.
