Till now, fortunes of Telugu film industry are steered only by a bunch of Celebrity Clans who have set up their own production houses. Globalization has changed the very meaning of Business in every field and Film Industry is no different. Yes, we are to witness radical changes to happen in Tollywood in coming few years.

Reliance Entertainment has acquired a share in Annapurna Studios and Reliance groups has already got stake in business houses owned by Ramoji Rao which includes Usha Kiran Enterprises.

Aditya Chopra floated a new company Yash Raj Films Deccan (YRF-D) setting his eyes on South. YRF is trying to remake hit Hindi films in Southern languages to get a foothold. In the process, ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ may soon take a Telugu version and YRF being producers of Hindi version may tune it up in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. UTV is the third player showing interest in South film industry. Well, its time for a deep study of dynamics in Tollywood and let us see how time factor would decide.
