Orthodox Hindu followers always correlate Movies with Religion. Feared of unnecessary nuisances, never our directors go out of box. During the making of ‘Sri Rama Rajyam,’ we have seen endless criticism from audience of Andhra Pradesh on a Catholic Nayanathara playing the role of Seetha Devi besides Lord Sri Rama that is Balakrishna. Luckily, Prabhu Deva was the reason as Nayan accepted Hinduism and then ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ stood for her exemplary performance.

Now, the news is about ‘Vipra Narayana.’ This story revolves around a Brahmin Thondaradippodi Alvar who devoted his life to Perumal but in turn is seduced by a woman who is determined to break his vow. This will be remade now in Telugu and Hindi with either Nagarjuna or Balakrishna to play title role. Efforts are in vogue to rope in dirty lady Vidya Balan for female lead. Sources say, regardless of Vidya’s religion she may not find any troubles similar to Nayan in taking up role of Deva Devi in devotional subject because the character itself is spicy and meant to tempt Vipra Narayana. In fact, Vidya could even be the apt match.
