Ambassador serious on SRK Detention

Internationally popular celebrity like Shah Rukh Khan being detained by US authorities for nearly 90 minutes at White Plains airport near New York is taken very much seriously by India’s Ambassador to US, Nirupama Rao. Expressing the concerns on such incident, Nirupama Rao said ‘the issue is taken to State Department. Issues of this nature have become the concern of entire Nation. US authorities have to understand the depth of such concerns as expressed by us. Embassy of India sought the State Department’s intervention to institute necessary measures and see that no such incidents are reported in future. Khan is no more in USA as he left to India.’

On the other hand, increasing terror threats for the USA should have made their security personnel to detain Shah Rukh Khan just for the tag of ‘Khan’ attached to his total name, opined Lata Mangeshkar.
