Beautiful yesteryear heroine turned gorgeous aunt of present generation is Madhuri Dixit. Having arrived in India with entire family to restart her career, Madhuri was looking for a right subject to make a grand comeback. Finally, director Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Gulabi Gang’ is found the correct platform. Yes, she signed on the dotted lines to play a woman dacoit fighting with nearly six women activities against social injustice in the region of Bundelkhand.

Reports say, ‘Gulabi Gang’ is based on the life of Sampat Pal, the founder president of the ‘Gulabi Gang’ operating in areas of Madhya Pradesh. As soon as Sampat Pal heard this news, she warned producer and director not to dare anything on her life. ‘I don’t mind filing a case against Madhuri and even seek a ban on the film because neither producer nor Madhuri approached me to make a film on my life,’ said Sampat Pal keeping Madhuri’s resurgence in big doubt.
